- I am the author of The Illusion of Will, Self, and Time SUNY Press (2015). In 1989, I had a mystical experience on a Vipassana retreat at Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts. I have been trying to make sense of it ever since. I began with William James, the father of transpersonal psychology, and never left. My articles on James have been published in the Journal of Consciousness Studies, the Journal of Transpersonal Psychology, Chromatika, and the Journal of Consciousness Exploration and Research. My anthology, Sciousness, was published by Eirini Press (2007).
